Although the LAAE has been
taken out of this year's
annual San Gabriel Valley
Solar Boat competition, this
year's students have not
backed down from their goals
of creating a vehicle. The
team leaders have decided to
start Project PULSE, in
hopes of completing an
electric vehicle soon to
compete in the Emerald Coast
Electrathon.
Pete Conrad Semi-Finalists
Announced
After last years success in
the Pete Conrad Competition,
the LAAE has endeavored to
send three teams to apply
for the competition. On
December 15th, the results
were announced and two of
the three teams that applied
qualified for the
semi-finals. Now these
students are continuing
their research and
preparations for the next
competition that is yet to
be announced.
